Job summary

Homestead Comfort in Ellington, CT is seeking an Experienced Apprentice HVAC Installer to grow through real mentorship and hands-on training. You’ll install heating and air conditioning systems, ride with a cutting-edge team, and pursue a clear path toward becoming a Lead Installer.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime as needed. Benefits include health and retirement plans, paid time off, and a strong training culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of heating and air conditioning experience.
• Apprentice card.
• High school/Technical diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic safety knowledge of tools and surroundings.
• Ability to follow directions and comply with safety rules.
• Willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing heating and air conditioning systems to Homestead Comfort standards.
• Ride along with experienced technicians for hands-on learning.
• Maintain safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Follow directions, document work, and communicate progress to lead installers.

OUR IDEAL EXPERIENCED APPRENTICE HVAC INSTALLER

We're looking for an Experienced Apprentice HVAC Installer who can help install heating and air conditioning systems according to Homestead Comfort's high-quality standards while learning side‑by‑side with our skilled technicians. You'll ride along with our cutting‑edge team to gain hands‑on experience, build the technical confidence needed to become a Lead Installer, and consistently maintain a safe and professional work environment.

This position works full‑time, Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (or until the job is finished), with overtime as needed.

Our ideal Experienced Apprentice HVAC Installer can also meet the following qualifications:

• 1+ years of heating and air conditioning experience
• Apprentice card
• High school/Technical diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Basic safety knowledge of tools and surroundings
• Ability to follow directions and comply with all safety rules
