Homestead Comfort in Ellington, CT is seeking a full-time Certified HVAC Service Technician to launch your career in heating and cooling. You will visit clients’ homes, diagnose issues, explain options, and perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance with quality and independence.

The ideal candidate holds a CT HVAC license (B/D/S), a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel the Hartford/Tolland service area. Great benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

What You'll Be Doing

Our Certified HVAC Service Technicians typically work from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some overtime if needed. There are on-call shifts, with half-days after your rotation! You'll be visiting clients' homes, speaking with them about their heating and cooling needs, and then getting to work inspecting their systems. Once you've diagnosed the source of issues with heating and air conditioning equipment, you'll explain service options to the homeowner and gain their approval before completing the appropriate repairs, replacements, and maintenance services. We're looking for someone who can treat clients respectfully and independently complete high-quality work.

Certified HVAC Service Technician Requirements

• Current Connecticut HVAC license (B, D, or S)
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to travel throughout our service area (Hartford and Tolland Counties)
• Genuine desire to help others

Compensation

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Salary: $45 - $55 per hour
