Job summary

Homestead Comfort is hiring a Lead HVAC Installation Technician in Ellington, CT. This full-time role leads installation crews, reviews equipment placement with customers, and ensures high-quality workmanship on every job.

Requirements include CT Lic D or S, valid driver's license, and 2+ years of HVAC experience preferred. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7 AM–4 PM with overtime; travel in company vehicle from a central location.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to review equipment placement and project expectations.
• Coordinate the crew to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Oversee equipment installation, piping, and terminations; complete startup and closeout paperwork.
• Maintain high workmanship standards across all installations.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years of HVAC experience is preferred.

SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime opportunities available, and all employees report to a central location before traveling in company vehicle to their assigned job sites.

In this role, you'll communicate directly with customers to review equipment placement and project expectations. You'll also coordinate your crew to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, oversee equipment installation, piping, and terminations, complete startup and closeout paperwork, and maintain the high workmanship standards that define Homestead Comfort.
