Job summary

PetSmart, a leading retailer of pet supplies, is seeking an Experience Lead to oversee customer service operations and drive the loyalty and pet parent experience in-store. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, leading a team when Leaders are not present, and ensuring safety and cleanliness while meeting store goals.

As a full-time Experience Lead, you will coordinate events, promotions, and adoptions, back up POS operations, and mentor associates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability; evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications and POS systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the associate experience and development.
• Lead daily store operations and assist as Leader on Duty.
• Promote pet adoptions, events, and partnerships.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and accurate cash handling.
• Back up to operate POS and process transactions.
