Job description

General Overview

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, responding to guest requests efficiently, and providing service with a smile. You will be core to the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service with a Southern Flare.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks when required.
• Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart daily.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform guest stay‑over service as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Full mobility and ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach overhead and reach below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Energetic, able to multi‑task, and maintain excellent cleanliness standards in both guest rooms and public areas.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.

Compensation

• Full availability, training, and meeting room times with experience: $15.00 per hour.
• Full availability and training with experience: $14.00 per hour.
• Available to work four days a week, including Saturday, Sunday, and federal holidays: $13.50 per hour.
• Less than four days a week, no limitations: $13.00 per hour.

All room attendants are eligible to receive tips.
