The Role:

As a Room Attendant / Housekeeper,you willbe responsible for ensuring that our guest’s firstimpression of their room is a spotless and welcoming home-away-from-home, and that everydetail of their room is in perfect order.You'llclean each room to hotel standards - vacuuming,dusting, removing trash, cleaning bathrooms, and making the beds. This position requireslifting, bending, carrying, and being on your feet, so ifyou'relooking for a job where you can beactive, this is it!

Qualifications:

• A genuine and friendly approach to guestinteractions.
• Able to collaborate with teammates and with otherdepartments
• Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning or housekeeping preferred but notrequired
• Able to interact with guests in a friendlymanner.
• While English fluency may not be required for this role, the Room Attendant should havesufficient communication skills to be able to direct the guest to someone who can better assistthem
• Friendly demeanor – a smile when passing a guest is a great communicationskill
• Consistent awareness of physical environment and attention to safety &security
• Attention to all details in each room; impeccable cleanliness ineach and everydetail
• Self-motivated to complete tasks efficiently &thoroughly
• Able to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to ensure that rooms are done withinprescribed time limits and done tostandard.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of theposition;
• Pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, working quickly and constantly on yourfeet.
• Basic understanding of cleaning tools, equipment andchemicals
• Understanding of safety protocols and able to report safetyhazards
