Job summary

Saddleback Church in Laguna Woods, CA is seeking an Experience Director/Pastor to oversee the weekend experience at their campus. You will steward the campus culture from streets to seats, guiding volunteers and teams to create welcoming services and help guests take their next faith steps, including baptisms.

This full-time role emphasizes leadership development, event logistics, campus property systems, and collaboration with the Campus Pastor.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple events, preferably in a church setting.
• Experience with leadership principles.
• Administration experience.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to teach and communicate core truths of scripture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate weekend “First Impression” ministry teams in support of campus church services and events.
• Recruit and meet with people to find the right team for them, meet with leaders to help them develop their leadership skills in developing people and duplicating systems to achieve results.
• Empower leaders to achieve ministry goals.
• Assist the Campus Pastor and/or campus staff on partnering with volunteers on special events/logistics and coordination.
• Plan and execute logistical plans for effective on-campus and off-campus special events.
• Coordinate all property logistics and maintenance. Recruit and lead volunteers for on campus grounds keeping, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinate all janitorial services, vendors, and volunteers.
• Manage and coordinate inventory and supply logistics for campus property and church “First Impression” ministries.
• Coordinate and manage all requests for repairs of facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
• Oversee and lead people to their next faith steps that include: Fresh start (new believer’s kit), Baptisms, Newcomers Connection events
