Freedom Home Care, LLC in Mankato, MN is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care across Mankato and surrounding areas. Shifts vary, including part-time, full-time, and PRN opportunities, with hourly pay of $18.00-$21.00 based on experience and premium 2-hour shifts at $22.00/$24.00.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Meal preparation and feeding support.
• Medication reminders and safe administration support.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transportation and errands for clients.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Support dementia and memory-care needs.
• Ensure client safety and observe changes in condition.

Freedom Home Care is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes throughout Mankato and surrounding communities.

We currently have several caregiving schedules available in Mankato, St. Peter, Nicollet, and surrounding communities, including:

• Mankato - PRN: Shifts available between 7:00 AM-10:00 PM
• Mankato - Every Other Weekend: 7:30 AM-9:30 AM | 2-hour short-shift rate: $24.00/hr
• Mankato: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
• Mankato: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 3:00 PM-10:00 PM & 10:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Mankato: Every other Monday 7:00 AM-10:00 AM | Tuesdays 7:00 AM-10:00 AM | Wednesdays 7:00 AM-10:00 AM & 8:30 PM-11:00 PM (must be available for both Wednesday shifts) | Every other Friday 8:30 PM-11:00 PM
• St. Peter - PRN: Hours available with the potential for a set schedule
• Nicollet: Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 9:00 AM-1:00 PM

Additional shifts and opportunities may become available as new clients are added!

What You'll Do

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required for all opportunities. CNA certification is a plus but is not required unless specified for a particular client assignment. Previous live‑in caregiving experience is required for PRN live‑in opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must:

A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and current auto insurance are required for this position.

Scheduling Opportunities

Because home care is based on individual client needs, schedules may include:

• Day shifts
• Evening shifts
• Weekend shifts
• Awake overnight shifts
• 2-hour short shifts — $22/hr Monday-Friday and $24/hr Saturday & Sunday
• Split shifts
• PRN/fill-in opportunities
• Live-in caregiving opportunities
