Job summary

K&A Engineering is seeking an Expeditor, Materials Specialist in Augusta, Maine. In this role, you will support project managers by sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely availability of equipment for energy and utility projects.

Ideal candidates have CPIM preferred, 5 years in materials management, and proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Word; SAP experience and utility-industry background are a plus. Maine residency is required.

Expeditor, Materials Specialist – Augusta, Maine

Supports Project Manager, Construction Manager and Commission Manager sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, managing materials and equipment manufacturing process and delivery to storage areas and project site.

• Order Acknowledgements
• Communication to Project Managers regarding material schedules.

What we’re looking for:

• Certificate in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred
• Five (5) years of experience in Materials Management
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• SAP Experience Preferred
• Experience in Utility Industry Preferred
• Must be a Maine resident

Pay Range

$70,000–$75,000 annually
