Job summary

Staff Management | SMX seeks an experienced Expeditor to join our Indianapolis team. You will track and expedite materials, coordinate with suppliers and warehouses, and keep ERP records accurate while communicating delays. This role supports production and logistics with detail-oriented execution.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in expediting or related fields, and solid ERP/MRP experience. On-site 1st shift, full-time with potential temp-to-hire. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in expediting, purchasing, scheduling, or logistics preferred.
• ERP/MRP or inventory system experience required.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Track and expedite materials, parts, and orders.
• Monitor inventory and address potential shortages.
• Communicate delivery updates and delays to internal teams.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and freight providers.
• Update ERP systems and maintain accurate order documentation.
• Resolve issues such as late or incorrect deliveries.
