Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing/Materials Expeditor to manage procurement, planning, and expediting of aftermarket components to support production schedules. You will issue work and purchase orders, coordinate direct-ship components, and align shipping with plant capacity to meet sales deadlines.

Ideal candidates bring 3–4 years of manufacturing/logistics experience, proficiency with SAP/ERP, and strong organizational skills to handle high volumes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing and order fulfillment processes.
• Ability to manage rapid, high-volume transactions with accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Orders
• Receive, review, and approve purchase orders
• Process standard orders through the system (QTC to SAP)
• Schedule and align shipping dates to minimize deliveries and optimize on-time shipping
• Issue work orders/purchase orders to satisfy sales order demands
• Reconcile internal order holds and help resolve contract issues
• Prioritize orders based on customer need and plant capacity
• Follow up on all orders to ensure customer satisfaction
