DJ's Bar & Grill in Winchester, KY is seeking an experienced expo/cook to join our kitchen team. In a fast-paced setting you will help ensure orders are accurate and plated promptly, using a char broiler, flattop, and fryers to support smooth service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
• A team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, as we’re open 7 days a week.
• A willingness to jump in wherever needed to keep the kitchen running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Calling tickets and preparing plates for service to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Cooking on a variety of kitchen equipment, including char broiler, flattop, and fryers.
• Maintaining control and a steady tempo during busy rushes.
• Being vocal and working collaboratively with the team to keep operations seamless.
• Washing dishes when needed to support the team.
• Closing the kitchen at the end of the night to ensure it’s ready for the next day.
