Job summary

EnergyLink Sourcing LLC, the centralized supply chain arm of Quanta Services, is seeking an Expeditor I to support post-award material execution for Transmission, Substation, and Distribution EPC projects. You will maintain supplier follow-up and schedule visibility from PO acknowledgment through delivery and closeout.

The role collaborates with suppliers, Buyers, engineering, quality, logistics, project management, construction, and field teams to ensure material commitments align with project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in supply chain, business, logistics, construction management, or engineering.
• Basic understanding of purchase orders, supplier communication, material delivery, and order status tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with ability to learn ERP and project management systems.
• Exposure to Transmission & Distribution, substation, electric utility, construction, or EPC projects preferred.
• Experience with ERP, procurement, or project management systems such as Coupa, SAP, Oracle, JDE, or Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain expediting records for assigned purchase orders, including supplier contacts, dates, status, milestones, and forecasts.
• Track supplier purchase order acknowledgments and baseline schedules; identify missing information and misalignments with project needs.
• Perform routine supplier follow-up on submittals, material availability, fabrication, inspection readiness, shipment, and delivery milestones.
• Maintain accurate dates and supplier status in ERP and project tracking systems; provide timely updates to Buyers.
• Support document expediting by tracking supplier drawings and data, and coordinating internal reviews.
