Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking an Expeditor to work closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure meal quality, portion consistency, and timely delivery to guests. The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and requires a proactive, guest-focused approach.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, plus prior high-volume restaurant experience. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
• Current Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to follow safety and quality standards with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals.
• Maintain superior standards of food service meeting guest expectations.
• Lead by example, recognizing team member performance.
• Ensure clear communication between kitchen, servers, and guests.
• Know menu items, ingredients, and allergens; monitor portions and presentation.
• Coordinate between kitchen and servers to deliver timely meals.
• Keep food line clean and organized with high cleanliness standards.
• Complete opening/closing side work and address safety issues diplomatically.
