Job summary

Bryce Resort, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Food Expeditor to ensure quality, presentation, and timely delivery of dishes at our four-season destination in Basye, VA. You will maintain a stocked expeditor station and serve as the primary link between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of our dining service schedule, with duties spanning ticket management, plating, and coordinating delivery to tables while upholding safety and kitchen

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented approach required for final food check and presentation.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean expeditor station.
• Excellent communication to relay requests and feedback between FOH and BOH.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain a neat, clean expeditor station.
• Bridge FOH and BOH to relay complaints, compliments, and special requests.
• Communicate shortages or updates to all front-of-house staff.
• Read tickets accurately and ensure plates meet Chef's standards.
• Primary person delivering food to tables and coordinating deliveries as needed.
• Adhere to kitchen policies and safety procedures.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Food Expeditor to join our team. In this vital role, you are the final point of contact for prepared food before it hits the floor. You will ensure the quality, proper presentation, and timely delivery of all dishes while maintaining a clean, fully stocked expeditor station.

Weekend and Holiday shifts are required.

General Responsibilities

• Station Management: Stock and maintain a neat, clean, and organized expeditor station.
• Team Communication: Act as the main bridge between the front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams to relay complaints, compliments, and special requests.
• Menu & Stock Updates: Communicate food shortages or important updates to all front-of-house staff.
• Ticket Management & Plating: Accurately read tickets and ensure plates are presented according to the Chef's standards.
• Food Delivery: Ensure all orders reach guests quickly by instructing. The expeditor is the primary person delivering food to tables, but on occasion will communicate to FOH for delivery.
• Kitchen Standards: Adhere strictly to all kitchen policies, safety procedures, and perform other duties as directed.
