Job summary

Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill in Maumee, OH is hiring motivated teammates to support expo and expeditor duties—assisting with food preparation, tray setup, plate presentation, and kitchen sanitation. You’ll help ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include communicating with BOH/FOH, following recipes, portioning, running food, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

Must be 16 years or older to apply.
Strong attention to detail.
High standards of cleanliness.
Ability to lead and take direction.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and stand and walk for extended periods.
Working knowledge of restaurant kitchen operations preferred.
Team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with BOH and FOH to ensure correct orders in a timely manner.
Follow standard recipes, food pairing and plate presentation protocols.
Tray dine-in and bag takeout foods accurately and efficiently.
Run food to the dining room or carryout as needed during shifts.
Prepare and portion ready-to-eat foods per prep sheets and pars.
Set up and teardown of food prep workspace.
Maintain, clean, and sanitize designated kitchen equipment.
Store and handle food properly.
Follow food safety and sanitation protocols across the kitchen.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
