Job summary

Emmy Squared Pizza Queen Village is hiring an Expeditor to join our team. The Expeditor will help maintain the flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen and diners, ensuring quick and accurate service while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of expeditor experience in a full-service restaurant, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.
• Long periods of standing and walking are required.

Expo Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the flow of orders from waiters to the kitchen to diners.
• Ensure orders are completed quickly and correctly.
• Assist with the finishing touches on dishes.
• Conduct quality control on each dish.
• Keeping the cooking, storage, and prep areas clean, neat, and well-stocked.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards.
• Assis all staff as needed.

Expo Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience as an expeditor in a full-service restaurant. A love for food is a must and pizza knowledge is a plus!
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting and reaching overhead.
