EPIC Piping is seeking a detail-oriented expeditor to facilitate material flow for projects. The role involves daily expediting, weekly reporting, and close collaboration with Procurement and Material Management teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely spool releases.
Applicants should have at least 2 years in expediting or related fields and proficiency with J.D. Edwards and Microsoft Office. This position emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and proactive problem solving.
Facilitate and expedite the flow of materials.
• Project Material Expediting daily, while maintaining good, professional working relationships with
suppliers.
• Maintain and submit current expediting reports weekly.
• Obtain and forward copies of Packing List, Bills of Lading & MTR’s to Receiver (Based on advanced
receiving procedure)
• Coordinate activities with other department leads (i.e. Procurement, Material Management, etc.)
• Assist in resolution of MDR’s (Material Discrepancies)
• Work with supply chain material control resources & project management to prioritize the delivery of
material to maximize the release of spools.
• Attend project meetings as needed (internal or client meetings)
• Assist procurement.
• Take pro-active approach to the tasks at hand.
