Job summary

Bricktown Brewery Restaurants in Joplin, MO is seeking an Expeditor to ensure correct items are delivered promptly and to act as a quality control on the line. The role involves expediting the flow from kitchen to guests and resolving delays.

You will help prepare production recipes, maintain pace, and support the team with timely delivery and ticket coordination in a busy restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Superior interpersonal / communication skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Has strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
• Relies on experience and judgment to make effective decisions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and expedites the flow of food from the kitchen to the Guests.
• Prepare food prep and production recipes per the Bricktown Brewery ChefPad.
• May be required to complete finish work on food prior to delivery to Guests.
• Handles any delivery inconsistencies or delays.
• Cleans and stocks in the restaurant, performs side work and packages to-go orders.
• Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time.
• Have strong menu knowledge and the ability to read, organize and coordinate tickets.
• Able to adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts.
• Operate and participate effectively in a team environment.

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour, dependent on experience

Position Summary

The Expeditor ensures the correct items are delivered to the correct Guests promptly as possible and handles any delivery inconsistencies or delay - they act as a quality control specialist on the line and fixes any orders.

Essential Functions

• Facilitates and expedites the flow of food from the kitchen to the Guests.
• Prepare food prep and production recipes per the Bricktown Brewery ChefPad.
• May be required to complete finish work on food prior to delivery to Guests.
• Handles any delivery inconsistencies or delays.
• Cleans and stocks in the restaurant, performs side work and packages to-go orders.

Physical Effort
