Tavern & Table on Shem Creek is designed to be that local gathering place where friends and family get together for classic cocktails and spectacular handcrafted food in a comfortable setting. The inventive menu, created by Executive Chef Denis Crutchfield celebrates the flavors of the Lowcountry focusing heavily on seasonal produce and locally sourced meats/seafood, using modern and rustic techniques.
Expeditors are ultimately responsible for making sure the food gets to the customer in a timely manner. The expeditor monitors ticket times and food quality to ensure the customer receives their food timely. Expeditors are accountable for collecting the food from the cooks for each order. The expeditor verifies that the order is correct depending on any modifications the customer has requested. For example: no onion, extra side of ranch, or allergic to peanuts. After verifying the order is ready for distribution the expeditor or food runner will run the food to the customer. Other duties may include prepping the expo cooler for each shift and cleaning and restocking the cooler each shift.
