General Summary: The Expediter/Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the day-to-day Service Warehouse logistics, including planning and scheduling. The role focuses on parts planning, warehouse organization, systems analysis, order fulfillment, space management, burn rates, critical level planning, scheduling, buying, and expediting. It is an intermediate position with growth potential within the Service warehouse team, reporting directly to the NA In-House Repair and Parts Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand all processes involved in the supply chain, liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers.
• Proactively communicate delivery priorities with suppliers and secure firm ship dates and quantities to support customer demand.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system.
• Plan, schedule, and purchase items for sales orders and requisitions, updating relevant databases.
• Identify at-risk orders and communicate status updates to buyers and service personnel.
• Support the purchasing team with projects as assigned.
• Coordinate with international Instron branches for the flow of service parts.
• Develop and update Excel-based reports, statuses, and charts; assist with quotes and purchase order statuses.
• Kitting assemblies for service field replacement units.
• Assist customers with parts requests, including definitions, pricing, warranties, and ETAs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Background in logistics, planning, and scheduling.
• Enthusiastic, cooperative attitude, good communication skills, customer-sensitive.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Thorough understanding of Bills of Materials.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power BI.

Educational Requirements:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in import/export roles.
