Job summary

ZEISS Minnesota is seeking an Expediter (Finance) to support movement of late or stalled RX orders within production and to provide real-time information to customer service. The role emphasizes ownership of the schedule, problem solving, and proactive communication across departments to maintain smooth workflows.

You will monitor orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality meets CZV standards while maintaining timely responses to emails and coordinating with Lab and Production teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work schedule to meet customer demand.
• Ship 40+ late/rush jobs per shift.
• Ensures quality meets CZV standards.
• Identifies problems, troubleshoots and implements corrective actions.
• Monitors (Jobs) with tools to track progress (Visual and DVI).
• Participates in management meetings and collaborates with department managers.
• Move jobs between departments and coordinate with customer service.
• Responds quickly to customer inquiries and emails (within 1 hour).
• Supports safety standards and raises safety concerns.
• Trains peers and works across multiple workstations.
