Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Lab Advocate to act as a liaison between the lab, customer service and order entry to expedite orders and improve lab service levels. You will identify orders at risk, tag and move them into production, and report to lab management alongside CS/OE teams.

Ideal candidates have lab/manufacturing experience, strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills, and attention to detail. Some overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of related manufacturing experience; lab experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Good judgment, problem solving, and attention to detail.
• Experience with Optical/Optifacts systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expedite orders in lab WIP and improve service level.
• Identify at-risk orders and move them into production.
• Coordinate with lab management, CS, and OE teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain organized work area and professional conduct at all times.
• Overtime may be required and regular attendance is expected.
