Job summary

Courier Network Inc. Burlingame, CA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to track, trace, and manage Expedited and Next Flight Out (NFO) shipments via air and domestic transport for the Import Division.

You will provide customer-specific updates from RFQ to final delivery. The role requires collaboration with carriers, customs, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, accurate documentation, and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or similar.
• 1–5 years of proven logistics operations experience with a preference for freight forwarding experience; operate and quote shipments.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to build great working relationships.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers and origin and destination location agents regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery processes.
• Communicate with customs to ensure clearance is obtained.
• Monitor and manage shipments until completion. Keep customers appraised of the export/import and domestic details of transactions in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness throughout the process, utilizing both internal and external resources.
• Timely communication with customers, offices, overseas and domestic providers to maintain relationships.
• Update, develop, and maintain the standard operating procedure (SOP) for assigned customers and ensure all team members are apprised of any applicable changes.
• Provide overall management of new and existing portfolios and information relative to the customers, including implementation of new procedures, quotes, contract agreements, routing, ad‑hoc bids, and special projects.
• Serve as an advisor and customer advocate and resolve issues, positioning the customer appropriately on all matters pertaining to delivering satisfaction.
• Keep customers appraised of the export/import and domestic details of transactions in accordance with SOP, SLA, and any other agreed terms and conditions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation in compliance with TSA and Ace Quality Assurance Standards SOPs.
