Job summary

Landstar System, Inc. is seeking an Expedited and Cold Chain Support Specialist to train and support our network of independent agents and internal teams.

The role focuses on growing Expedited and temperature-controlled transportation services through training, guidance, and collaboration with multiple Landstar departments. You will identify new business opportunities, assist onboarding of customers, and build strong relationships with service providers, agents, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• GED or higher required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service in a service-related business.
• Experience in transportation operations, expedited freight, cold chain, or pricing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person and virtual training on Expedited and Cold Chain services, processes, and systems.
• Support agents and employees in identifying and onboarding Expedited and Cold Chain business opportunities.
• Coordinate onboarding activities with cross-functional Landstar departments for a smooth transition.
• Build relationships with operations, dispatchers, and drivers to support objectives.
• Maintain training materials, procedures, and documentation.
• Handle inquiries via phone and email to internal and external stakeholders.
• Research, troubleshoot, and resolve service concerns, escalating when needed.
