Job summary

Framingham Public Schools seeks a Coordinator of Expanded Learning (ELT) for the Early Education Site to plan and supervise before- and after-school programs for Preschool & Pre-K. This role works with school leaders, families, and community partners to deliver hands-on, play-based activities that complement classroom learning.

The position requires at least 2 years in OST or education, plus supervisory experience, and a commitment to equity and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education or a related field preferred. High School degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an out-of-school-time professional or educator in a school or community-based setting required.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience overseeing programmatic operations for student-serving programming required.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, and coaching staff required.
• Experience with program and curriculum design, development, implementation, and continuous programmatic improvement in educational settings required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement high-quality before- and after-school programming for Preschool & Pre-K students.
• Coordinate with school leaders, families, and community partners to ensure equity and accessibility.
• Oversee daily OST operations, safety, and staffing, including supervision and coaching of staff.
• Plan community events and field trips and respond to student needs across a multifaceted program.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and confidentiality requirements.
