Job summary

High Tech High is seeking an Assistant Coordinator of Expanded Learning to provide direct administrative support, mentor and lead enrichment activities on campus. This role focuses on tutoring, planning curriculum, and coordinating outreach to families, with potential second-in-command responsibilities when the Aftercare Coordinator/Director is absent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with students.
• TB clearance and DOJ background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and communication to families.
• Direct administrative support to the Aftercare Coordinator/Director.
• May serve as second in charge in the absence of the Aftercare Coordinator/Director.
• Supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and organized environment for the students.
• Take attendance to ensure all students are accounted for.
• Plan, develop, and facilitate engaging student activities.
• Assist students with learning activities and homework assignments.
• Understand and implement emergency procedures, including safety protocols.
