Job summary

High Tech High Middle Mesa is seeking an Assistant Coordinator of Expanded Learning to support the Aftercare Coordinator/Director and mentor students on campus. The role involves tutoring, activity leadership, and coordinating curriculum, with an emphasis on outreach to families.

This in-person position is part-time and hourly, with responsibilities including planning activities, supervising students, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach and communication to families.
• Direct administrative support to the Aftercare Coordinator/Director.
• May serve as second in charge in the absence of the Aftercare Coordinator/Director.
• Supervise school-aged children indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and organized environment for the students.
• Take attendance to ensure all students are accounted for.
• Plan, develop, and facilitate engaging student activities.
• Assist students with learning activities and homework assignments.
• Understand and implement emergency procedures, including safety protocols.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
