Aspen Dental in Ohio is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support the DA office team, enhance patient flow, and assist doctors during procedures. You will perform operatory breakdowns, sterilization, radiographs, and patient education while maintaining HIPAA and OSHA standards.

You should have a current Dental Assistant license, state radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and at least 2 years of chairside experience. A collaborative, growth‑driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license/registration as required by state.
• State radiology certification as required.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four‑hand dentistry.
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare operatory rooms and ensure proper sterilization.
• Take dental radiographs and educate patients on oral care.
• Support patient charting and maintain patient flow.
• Order and manage supplies within practice budget.
• Train staff on patient handoffs and OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
