Qualifications

• GS-05: Education: completed a full 4-year dental assistant program with relevant coursework in radiation physics.
• GS-06: Advanced duties include restorative functions, coronal polishing, sealants, x‑rays, and fluoride application under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Restores teeth after preparation.
• Provides chairside assisting and anticipates dentist's needs for instruments and materials.
• Performs intra-oral procedures such as prophylaxis, sealants, and temporary restorations; handles radiographs and lab tasks.
• Receives and prepares patients, maintains appointment and treatment records.
