ProSmile Holdings, LLC is seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our practice in Fairless Hills, PA. The role involves assisting dentists across a range of procedures, taking digital X-rays, and fabricating temporary crowns while maintaining strict infection control standards.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification is required.
• Proficiency in EFDA functions as listed in standard duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider during a variety of treatment procedures
• Set up and breakdown treatment operatories
• Take digital x-rays
• Fabricate temporary crowns within a designated time frame
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor
