Dental Arts of Drexel Hill, part of Guardian Dentistry Partners, seeks an experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to support dentists, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain sterile environments in a patient-centered practice in Drexel Hill, PA.

The successful candidate will take X-rays, perform coronal polishing, take impressions, and assist the dentist during procedures while educating patients on oral care and upholding high standards of professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification and radiology credentials are required or preferred.
• Experience assisting dentists in EFDA role is expected.
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential.
• Excellent bedside manner and patient communication are needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for procedures.
• Assist dentist chairside and pass instruments during treatments.
• Perform coronal polishing and apply fluoride treatments.
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions.
• Document patient histories and educate patients on oral care.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle payments.
