Job summary

Rodeo Dental is a fast-growing multi-specialty dental group with 100+ doctors and locations across the United States. We seek an EDDA-certified dental assistant to support restorative procedures and patient care in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with fillings, crowns, dentures, X-rays, and charting, while upholding stringent safety and infection-control standards. Bilingual Spanish is a plus and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dental assisting (EDDA) experience.
• Experience in multi-surface fillings and dentures is preferred.
• Active CPR and AED training.
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification preferred.
• OSHA, HIPAA and infection control training required.
• Experience with Open Dental/Dentrix is helpful.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in restorative procedures, fillings, crowns, dentures and impressions.
• Maintain patient safety and team safety as priorities.
• Follow OSHA and infection control protocols and dispose of sharps safely.
• Maintain digital patient records and insurance information.
• Educate patients on oral health benefits.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked.
• Chart treatments and update patient health history.
• Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to charts.
