Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics in Peoria, IL is seeking a dental assistant to support doctors in restorative work, radiographs, and patient records. Emphasis on patient safety and infection control, with teamwork as a priority.

Ideal candidates have EDDA experience, multi-surface fillings and dentures experience, CPR/AED, nitrous monitoring preferred, and bilingual Spanish is a plus. Compensation is $24-$28 per hour with benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• EDDA/dental assisting experience required
• Experience with multi-surface fillings and dentures
• CPR/AED training required
• Nitrous oxide monitoring certification preferred
• OSHA, HIPAA and infection control training required
• Open Dental/Dentrix experience helpful
• Sealant/Coronal Polishing/PALS certifications are a plus
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsabilidades

• Assist the doctor in restorative procedures including fillings, crowns/bridges, dentures, impressions.
• Maintain patient safety and team safety as priority one.
• Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols.
• Maintain digital patient records including health history, insurance eligibility and treatment plans.
• Educate patients on the benefits of good oral health.
• Monitor patient well-being during visits.
• Prepare tray setups per doctor preferences.
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked.
• Chart existing treatments and update patient charts.
• Review charts before doctor arrival and reconfirm chief concern.
• Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to patient chart.
• Help team clean surfaces and common areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Compensation Range: $24-$28 per hour
