Job summary

Dental Arts of Oliver Springs is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team. You will support the clinical treatment care, manage lab equipment, take and develop X-rays, and provide post-operative care to patients under the supported dentist's schedule.

We offer extensive training, opportunities for advancement, and a benefits package within a Heartland Dental supported network; travel for training is expected at least every other month.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Excellent patient care and strong organizational skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to travel for training at least every other month.
• Dental assisting certificate is a plus; prior dental practice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Participate in continuing education and training opportunities offered by Heartland Dental to improve clinical skills.
