Job summary

Heartland Dental's Dentistry at Hagerstown is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support the clinical treatment care of patients. You will take and develop X-rays, organize lab equipment, and assist the dentist while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with excellent communication.
• Excellent patient care and strong organizational ability.
• Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to travel for training at least every other month.
• Dental assisting certificate or related experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take and develop X-rays for patients.
• Organize and maintain lab equipment and supplies.
• Assist the dentist during procedures and manage patient comfort.
• Record medical/dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Adhere to OSHA policies and safety procedures.
