Job summary

Water Tower Dental Care is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to support the clinical treatment of patients. The EDDA will organize lab equipment, take and develop X-rays, and provide comprehensive post-operative care under the supervision of the dentist.

We offer extensive training and opportunities to advance within Heartland Dental’s supported offices, along with a strong team culture and competitive benefits. Travel for training is required periodically.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Superior knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to travel for training at least every other month.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain lab equipment and take/develop X-rays.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients.
• Take and record medical and dental histories and patient vitals.
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies and participate in continuing education.
