Job summary

Unbridled Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported office, is seeking an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to support clinical treatment, take and develop X-rays, maintain lab equipment and ensure patient comfort while following OSHA policies. The EDDA plays a key role in delivering quality care and educating patients.

The ideal candidate has a dental assisting certificate, excellent interpersonal skills, manual dexterity and the ability to coordinate with the dentist and team.

Qualifications

• Positive and outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Excellent patient care and organizational abilities.
• Willing to travel for training on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vitalsigns.
• Assisting the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Organizing and maintaining lab equipment and X-ray devices.
• Providing comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients.
• Adhering to OSHA and safety policies.
