Job summary

Alliance Family Dentistry in Colorado Springs is seeking an EDDA/EFDA to join our team. Responsibilities include preparing operatories, assisting during procedures, taking x‑rays, and performing lab duties.

Must have EDDA certification or 1 year of EDDA experience, radiology certification, CPR/BLS, and proficiency with dental management software. We offer a supportive environment with modern conservative care, patient education, and a focus on lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• EDDA Certification or minimum 1 year of EDDA experience.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Radiology Certification is required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments.
• Proficiency in dental patient management software such as Open Dental or Dentrix.
• Knowledge of prosthodontics for restorations.
• Experience with Clear Aligners such as Invisalign is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing operatories for treatment.
• Sterilizing instruments.
• Directly assist dentist during procedures using four handed dentistry technique.
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos.
• Accurately and efficiently treatment plan based on doctor’s diagnosis.
• Providing patient education and post-operative instruction.
• Perform lab duties such as pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Stock supplies and maintain equipment.
• Accurately document and maintain Patient Health Information.
• Place temporary and permanent restorations in teeth and shape to proper contour.
• Removes sutures and places rubber dams as directed by dentist.
• Place Sealants.
• Fluoride Application.
• Coronal Polishing.
• Take final impressions.
• Monitor nitrous oxide.

We are looking for an EDDA/EFDA to join our team at Alliance Family Dentistry! We’re committed to providing modern, conservative care to all our patients, while making them feel like they’re right at home. Our team makes our patients feel confident in their smiles while creating lasting, meaningful relationships along the way.

Schedule:

Tuesday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-1pm

Compensation:

$24-$28/hour
