Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking a motivated Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our Atlanta office full-time. You will support dental providers, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and manage lab work while delivering patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate embraces teamwork, is eager to learn, and can adapt to flexible scheduling. CDA/EDDA credentials and CPR status are preferred; excellent benefits accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented and compassionate candidate with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Flexible hours and ability to adapt in a fast-paced dental office.
• Experience is a plus; training provided for right candidate.
• Certificate of CDA and EDDA and CPR certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure equipment is ready for providers.
• Assist providers during procedures by handing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Take and process patient X-rays and manage lab work for providers.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments, and update health records.
• Advise patients on treatment plans and post-op care; handle admin duties.

Our office is looking for a motivated and compassionate Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our culture-driven team full-time. This is a high-paced, patient focused office with a strong team. We are looking for a long-term addition who wants to find a permanent home.

Daily tasks to include:

• Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for providers
• Assisting providers during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs
• Taking and processing X-rays of patients
• Processing lab work for the providers
• Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
• Advising patients on recommended treatment and post Op care
• Updating and maintaining health records
• Handling general administrative and other duties to optimize the practice
