Job summary

Risas Dental and Braces is seeking a highly motivated EDDA to join our family. You will work hands-on with doctors, educating patients on dental treatment and oral health while maintaining patient flow.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • EDDA Certification preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience in the dental field preferred.
  • X-ray certification.
  • Coronal polish certification.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly skilled, trained, and have knowledge of dental operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assists doctors at chair-side with all aspects of dental treatment.
  • Performs advanced dental assisting including coronal polish, sealants, crown prep, denture impressions and adjustments, packing cord, and Class II fillings.
  • Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments and equipment for patient treatment.
  • Educate patients on general oral healthcare as directed by the doctor.
  • Present treatment to patients based on doctor recommendations.
  • Complete X-rays and intra-oral pictures efficiently.
  • Record patient charting and notes in the digital chart.
  • Provide continuous support, training, and feedback to teammates.
  • Store and maintains inventory and supplies.
  • Maintain compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Doctors or Office Manager.
