Job summary

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is seeking a Coordinator, Exhibitions to support planning, coordination, and execution of the Arboretum's exhibition portfolio, including seasonal and large-scale exhibitions, enhancing the guest experience.

Reporting to the Director of Exhibitions, the coordinator provides project coordination and administrative support across the exhibition lifecycle, ensuring projects stay organized, on schedule, and well-documented in collaboration with internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, project management, museum studies, arts administration, communications or related field.
• Experience coordinating projects, events, operations, or administrative functions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day planning and execution activities for multiple exhibition projects.
• Maintain project schedules, timelines, documentation, and action item logs; monitor milestones and follow up with departments and external partners.
• Prepare project plans, implementation schedules, and logistics for exhibition projects.
• Coordinate installation, operation, maintenance, and deinstallation activities to support readiness and guest experience.
• Coordinate cross-departmental communication to ensure lifecycle alignment.
• Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions and actions, and follow up on outstanding items.
