Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Conferences Planner to lead exhibit operations and sponsorship fulfillment for North American destination conferences. You will manage exhibits, floor plans, budgets and staffing, and serve as onsite lead coordinating agencies, vendors, and staff.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of exhibitor elements across multiple B2B conferences including PM, floor plan management, budgeting, staff planning and production scheduling.
• Develop and improve exhibit floor plans to maximize revenue and engagement.
• Manage conference budgets with forecasts and expense control.
• Attend conferences as onsite lead for exhibit delivery, coordinating with agencies, vendors and staff.
• Develop and maintain exhibit inventory for show floor, sessions and marketing opportunities.
• Analyze data to determine best action for conference elements.
• Maintain online portal with exhibitor logistics and details.
• Anticipate client requests with a service-focused approach to maximize exhibitor retention.
• Liaise with conference partners and teams to ensure successful execution and strong partnerships.
• Pursue operational excellence and efficiencies across conference delivery.
• Develop understanding of Gartner’s conference business and value propositions for attendees and exhibitors.
• Standardize processes, project management, and best practices in planning and onsite execution.
