Job summary

Jefferson Solutions Group seeks an Exercise Support Subject Matter Expert to support the USAF 505th Tactical Training Group. Onsite at Hurlburt Field, Florida, the role involves delivering executive-level instruction, mentoring AFCHQ staffs, and developing C2 capabilities during major exercises and contingencies.

Qualified candidates will have leadership experience in Combat Plans, AFCHQ/AFFOR staff exposure, and a strong background in TBMCS, C2CORE, and joint targeting.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of leadership experience in Combat Plans or equivalent roles.
• Experience on AFCHQ AOC or AFFOR staff, preferably as Division Chief or Director.
• Experience with AFCHQ AOC/AFFOR operations at operational warfare level.
• Military command tour completed at squadron level or above.
• Experience executing the joint planning process and participating in planning events.
• Knowledge of strategy development and operational assessment activities.
• Familiarity with TBMCS applications relevant to job performance.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• USAF instructor certification or equivalent desired.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
• TS/SCI security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level training and advisory support to AFCHQ staffs during major exercises and contingencies.
• Interact with senior officers and mentors to enhance C2 leadership capabilities.
• Develop and institutionalize best-of-breed capabilities for Air Force command and control processes.
• Deliver instruction in classrooms and during dynamic exercise environments.
• Coordinate multiple planning conferences and TDY activities for exercises.
• Travel more than 100 days per year and support 12-hour TDY shifts, including weekends.
