Job summary

Jefferson Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Academic Instructor/Subject Matter Expert (SAI/SME) to support USAF 505 TTG. This part-time, onsite role at Hurlburt Field involves delivering and developing course content for multiple advanced Air Force courses and maintaining course materials for timely execution.

Ideal candidates bring extensive DoD experience, a Top Secret/SCI clearance, and a strong background in training and instruction at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a regionally accredited university.
• 10+ years of DoD military experience with air component experience.
• Current Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility.
• 20+ years of military operational experience as a rated officer, IC, cyberspace officer, SOF, or space operations officer.
• Minimum of five years as a senior officer (GS-14/15, Colonel, Brigadier General).
• Career assignments must include Air Component HQ and leadership staff roles at Major Command or Joint Staff level.
• Experience with training/instructor roles: Weapons Instructor Course, PME faculty, SAASS/SAMS/JAWS, AETC Master Instructor, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate all academic instruction as directed by the Course Director and Course Manager.
• Instruct ACSLC, CSSC, C2WAC, IALC, CFACC, DWC2C, DIRMOBFOR, and SJAT as assigned.
• Ensure course materials are current prior to instruction.
• Develop, review, and respond to critiques of academic instruction and student comments.
• Develop and execute a graduate evaluation plan to assess outcomes.
