Medical City Decatur, part of HCA Healthcare, is offering a PRN Exercise Physiologist position. The role focuses on safe, effective care for cardiac patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, working with a multidisciplinary team in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications include ACLS/BCLS within 30 days of start, a bachelor’s in a related field with internship experience, and preferred certifications from ACSM, ACE, or AHFS. Benefits support overall well-being and career growth.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Cardiac Rehab, or Health Fitness with at least 300 hours in a clinical internship and a background in exercise physiology.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Cardiac Rehab, or Health Fitness with at least 300 hours in a clinical internship and a background in exercise physiology.
• Certification from one of the following ACSM, ACE, and/or AHFS preferred
