Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full-Time Exercise Physiologist to provide care to client employees and dependents at our Health Center in Sunnyvale, CA. Anticipated schedule is 9:30am–6:30pm, Monday–Friday.

You will lead educational presentations, supervise group training, and evaluate work-related physical demands. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in exercise science or related field, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and 3+ years in fitness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a closely related field is required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Group Exercise Primary certification preferred.
• Advanced fitness certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of fitness industry experience.
• 1+ years of medical fitness experience preferred.
• Experience developing exercise prescriptions for high-risk populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute, describe and coach educational presentations, group training exercises, and posture circuit components.
• Perform Physical Demand Analyses including data collection, measurement tools, and video analysis.
• Identify high-risk work areas and follow up to ensure early symptom recognition and prevention.
• Evaluate individuals using Physical Performance Testing and musculoskeletal assessments.
• Provide corrective coaching on postures and countermeasures during line-side follow-ups and testing.
• Collaborate with Athletic Trainers, nurses, physicians, and client liaisons on safety issues.
• Work with management and clients on special projects and research opportunities.
• May require other duties as assigned.
