Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab Services LLC is seeking a full-time Exercise Physiologist to join a skilled nursing facility team in New Jersey. You will assess patients, develop and coordinate exercise programs, and supervise under a physician or physical therapist.

Expect collaborative support and opportunities for growth within a large therapy network. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science, CPR certification, and preferred certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.
• Certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients/clients to establish medical histories, exercise histories, and exercise goals.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate exercise and wellness programs for patients/clients under supervision of a physical therapist or physician.
• Develop individualized exercise plans.
• Provide clinical oversight of the exercise program.
• May perform diagnostic tests as indicated (stress test, EKG, body fat test) to assess patient/clients health and fitness.
• Ensure all patient/client documentation is completed in a timely fashion.
• Exercise Physiologist performs all other duties as assigned.
