Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist for the Cardiopulmonary Rehab team in Nashua, NH. The role focuses on designing personalized exercise programs and educating patients to improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health.

Responsibilities include conducting functional tests, leading sessions, and coordinating home programs while maintaining accurate documentation and responding to emergencies within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Exercise Science.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition, cardiac and pulmonary anatomy.
• Skilled in assessing BP, HR, and O2 saturation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communicator with multitask and prioritization.

• Administer 6-Minute Walk Tests and Timed Get Up and Go assessments.
• Develop and lead individualized and group exercise sessions.
• Create home exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients on telemetry monitoring, pulse taking, and cardiac risk reduction.
• Schedule new patients and maintain timely documentation.
• Respond to emergency situations within scope of practice.
• Deliver community education programs and stay current with evidence-based practices.

About the Job:

As an Exercise Physiologist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehab department, you will play a vital role in helping patients safely regain strength and improve cardiovascular and pulmonary health through personalized exercise programs and education.
