Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join the Cardiopulmonary Rehab team on a per diem, day shift basis. You will assess patients, develop individualized and group exercise programs, and educate on telemetry, monitoring, and cardiac risk reduction.

Responsibilities include scheduling new patients, documenting promptly, responding to emergencies within scope of practice, and delivering community education while staying current with evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Exercise Science.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Basic knowledge of nutrition, cardiac and pulmonary anatomy.
• Skilled in assessing BP, HR, and O2 saturation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communicator with the ability to multitask and prioritize patient care.

• Administer 6-Minute Walk Tests and Timed Get Up and Go assessments.
• Develop and lead individualized and group exercise sessions.
• Create home exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients on telemetry monitoring, pulse taking, and cardiac risk reduction.

• Respond to emergency situations within scope of practice.
• Deliver community education programs and stay current with evidence-based practices.
